We are please to inform that we have yet again expanded our wine collection and have added some exceptional new wines. We have 2 new Chilean's a Chardonnay and a Shiraz. 2 new Australians a Sauvignon and a Merlot. 2 Spanish Rioja's, one white and a superb young red Rioja. We have taken our time and select these wines based on there excellent quality and value for money. We hope you enjoy them as much as we have and will look forward to hearing your feedback.

Unfortunatley we have had to increase the price of some of our wines, this is due to a price rise in transportation charges and the V.A.T increase.

2010 is proving to be a great year for the team at Olivin, we have considerably expanded our catalogue of wines. Our new range that we are most excited about is the Tall Horse selection. Amazing quality wines at great prices! This South African estate has covered all tastes from a fresh Sauvignon Blanc to a quality Pinotage. Have a look and place your order we are sure you will be as impresed with the quality as we are.

In 2009 we took on an amazing Spanish red, Clos de Torribas Crianza. This wine proved popular not only with the Olivin team but with our customers to! Well have found another one, Pinord Clos 15 Merlot 2006. It comes from the same vineyard and is equaly good in quality. We are confident it wont be long untill this wine also starts winning awards!!

We are delighted at Olivin to have featured in Junes edition of Four Shires magazine

It might seem that in the middle of a recession (combined with the most difficult trading conditions licensed premises have had to deal with in 25 years), that this might not be the best time to start a new local wine wholesale buisness. It is however quite the contrary according to Craig Finlayson and Diana Munarriz at Olivin. They should know for Craig has around 25 years experience in supplying restaurants and hotels with beer and wines and is a familiar face round the pubs and restaurants of Warwickshire and county borders. Changes within the company Craig worked for originally provided the kick that was needed to start his own buisness.

Olivin has flourished within a very short time. A natural progression was to launch a website and take the range of wines to a wider market, hence Olivin Online was born. With the establishment of the website came Diana's involvement. Diana is the brains behind the I.T and indeed much of the creative design is down to her. " We are desperately excited about the launch of our website, and although we know our wines will be available nationally, it is Warwickshire and the surrounding counties in which we want to take our wines more than anywere else" said Diana. Olivin concentrates very firmly on providing quality yet affordable wines, searching out the wines that drink well above their class, and finding them from unusual countries, or grape varieties which are often overlooked as unfashionable. The first and most important test, is always how well the wine drinks. Both Craig and Diana feel that success will only come if customers buy into what they are trying to achieve, and also if Craig's eye and indeed nose for a cracking wine continues to bear fruit!!

Clos De Torribas Crianza Bodegas Pinord

Clos De Torribas has just been awarded the accolade of one of the best 100 wines in the world by the accredited "Wine Spectator magazine". Hardly suprising! It is a deep full red, supremley smooth and long lasting in the mouth, very easy to drink!! This wine has quickly become one of our favourites!!
